I read all the reviews (8 of them) out of curiosity before writing mine. Personally, I feel the criticality negative reviews are way too critical and makes me wonder why, other than the fact that it was free through the Vine Program, those people ordered it. Where's the truth and where does it really matter?:
True: It does not hold the Kindle Paper White as securely as the Amazon brand cover that's sold for the Paper White. However, this is not important. What is important is whether or nor the Kindle is secure in this case and the answer is an unequivocal YES. It's true that the Kindle is held in by for straps at the corners as opposed to the super sturdy insert of the Amazon cover however, I can assure you, there's not an eskimo's chance in hell that the Kindle is going to fall out of this cover accidentally.

Buy it for the design
This case is well made and has a nice velvet interior. The front has an embossed picture, which is nicer than one that's just printed on. But aside from that, there's not much special about it. The inside has four anchors, as is typical for this type of case. The top anchors are bit nicer than what many cases have. They use the same material as the bottom anchors but with elastic bands underneath. That makes it much easier to take the Kindle in and out of the case compared to many competing brands. It also lets the cover sit more evenly when closed.
The Paperwhite isn't designed for a magnetic case, nor does it have the need for an external reading light, so there aren't any frills, nor are there any frills needed or features missing. Since the price is clearly stated for the product, I won't say whether the case is worth the price. If it's pricey at the time you see this, compared to other cases, you will have to decide what you want to spend for the particular design. But...
