1. Very Nice International Charger
I do a lot of international travelling, so I have bought just about every conversion and adapter kit on the market. This is the best-made and most versatile I have seen to charge electronic devices, including but not limited to the Kindles. It is a powerful 9 watts and will work safely on any device using a micro-B USB charging port. It can also be used with non-standard devices, like Apple products or older electronics having mini-B ports, as long as you have the appropriate USB cord for it. It can be used in almost every country (the standard European "C" plug can be used in most outliers like the South American countries and Israel because their plugs are dual type).
The charger is as small as it could be for such a powerful charger, is very durable, and compact. I like it because the interchangeable plugs actually form part of the charger. 2. EXCELLENT CHARGING OPTION FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS AND THOSE WHO REQUIRE A 'FAST CHARGE'
I travel frequently. I have used the International Charging Kit successfully in UK, the Hawai'ian Islands, Turkey and Spain.
The USB charger supplied with my Kindle Fire HD is very slow to charge from a PC/Mac. This may be a moneymaking ruse by Amazon to encourage/force customers to buy the Charging Kit. Amazon did not provide even a standard, single fitting charger which, I thought, to be very mean of them.
Having said that, I found the International Charging Kit to be: exceptionally well made, easy to use, adequate length of cable, very light to carry and aesthetically pleasing. More importantly... it really does provide an accelerated charge. Depending on local power supplies my Kindle Fire charges fully from 15% residual charge in 3 to 4 hours. The lengthy cable enables me to continue reading etc whilst charging.

It is much faster than the one that comes with the Kindle. Just be careful that everything is connected well and that you don't touch the end that goes into the Kindle when it is plugged in. You can get a little surprise ;-)
